When it comes to getting your protein needs met, you might be finding that you quickly grow tired of eating chicken breast after chicken breast.
And at this point, eggs don’t sound much better.

In A Smoothie
The next place where Greek yogurt comes in helpful is with any fruit smoothie you happen to be preparing. Blend Greek yogurt together with some unsweetened almond milk, some frozen fruit, along with some nut butter.
You can add protein powder to this if you want, however it’s not necessary. If you don’t have any on hand or simply don’t like using protein powder, the Greek yogurt itself will provide enough protein to make this smoothie balanced.
Plus, it gives it a thicker consistency so that it’s more like a milkshake.
Blended Into A Sauce Or Dip
Because plain Greek yogurt can work sweet or savory, it’s also a great way to prepare a healthier sauce or dip. You can whip up a creamy Greek yogurt sauce by adding some garlic, a little tomato sauce, along with some oregano.
Or, consider preparing a cold Greek yogurt dip by mixing it together with some fat free mayonnaise or cream cheese. Stir in some fresh dill weed along with some dried onion flakes or garlic and you’ll have a delicious dip that can be used to serve alongside sliced vegetables.
Greek yogurt is an excellent substitution for sour cream or mayonnaise in most recipes, so keep this in mind when seeking out recipes to prepare.
In Baked Foods
Finally, the last way that you can easily incorporate Greek yogurt into your diet plan is in baked foods. As it brings moisture to baking recipes, it can be a great substitute for other higher fat ingredients like butter or even eggs in some cases.
Look for healthier recipes that call for Greek yogurt and the substitution will likely already be made.
