Gold Standard Whey by Optimum Nutrition is the ORIGINAL gold standard protein. It has always been viewed as the best quality whey protein that money can buy, and as anyone will tell you, if you want to take your training seriously, buy Gold Standard.
Why buy gold standard? Well besides the fact that it is the most trusted source of whey protein available, Gold Standard Whey contains 24g of protein per serving (79% by weight) in the form of whey protein isolates (highly filtered whey protein), concentrates (protein high in bioavailable amino acids), and hydrowhey (strategically formulated to provide the most benefit). Gold Standard also contains digestive enzymes, so it is more tolerable to anyone who has trouble digesting whey protein. Finally Gold Standard provides biologically active microfractions and growth factors along with high amounts of amino acids. So Gold Standard isn't just a protein supplement, it's a complete muscle building powder (just call it your bucket 'o gains).
But don't just take our word for it, some of the most recognizable names in the fitness industry stand behind this vaunted protein supplement. Steve Cook, for example claimes it was his favorite protein even before becoming an optimum sponsored athlete. Brock Cunico, fitness model and natural bodybuilder also uses Gold Standard. But can all athletes take this without fear of failing performance enhancing drug tests? The answer is yes. Gold Standard Whey is 100% protein, which is found naturally in most foods.Benefits Of Gold Standard Whey Protein

Hydrolyzed Whey Protein Isolate – HWPI is whey protein isolate that has been further broken down into smaller components called peptides that are easier to digest allowing for fast absorption into the bloodstream.
Whey Protein Isolate – WPI is a concentrated whey protein that contains greater than 90% whey protein. Isolate protein contains less fat, cholesterol, and carbohydrates than its concentrate counterpart, so WPI may be a good option for someone watching their fat and carb intake.
Whey Protein Concentrate - WPC is a concentrated whey product that contains 40-90% whey protein*All three types of protein are found in Gold Standard Whey

I normally don't leave reviews, but Ordered the doughnut batter first time because reviews were good, taste was meh. next I thought how can you go wrong with chocolate mint, it was even worse. It taste nothing like either noted flavor
Only positive thing I have to say is it mixes well
This is the best tasting and overall best whey protein ever!
It's just the best whey protein powder out there for sure. Love the chocolate flavor. Most importantly, I've seen results. And that's what matters.
i love gold standard not just because it has extra bcaa & glutamine but because its a perfect meal replacement to help me hit my daily macros & its fast digestion which is perfect for after the workout to jump start the recovery process.
Love this stuff, i'm able to deadlift a buick no problem now! Tastes good, doesn't clump and got me huge! Buy it
Gold Standard Whey is always the first protein that someone recommends to you (if you're both newbs). Bottom line is it's a decent protein, but the formula is outdated. It doesn't do anything well. It's not the purest isolate, it's doesn't have the best amino acid profile, and it sure as hell isn't the best tasting. Not to mention that it's more expensive per pound than any protein in it's class. Do yourself a favor and try some Purus Labs Myofeed. I sampled it in one of the Suppz stores and it tasted amazing, had a better nutritional profile, and cost less than Gold Standard. I ended up buying a jug and I'm glad i did.
Tastes great and does the trick. More of a "meal replacement" protein, but still a staplemark in the protein market.
This is the best protein powder of the world.
The taste is very good.
This is my number one Protein Powder!!!!
You can buy without fear!
Tastes great and mixes up really well. I got the chocolate and I have ZERO complaints with it. Really good stuff!
Bought this after I used up the body fortress protein. This stuff tastes a lot better, seems to work just as well or even a bit better than the body fortress protein. I bought the cookies and cream and let me tell you, it tastes awesome.
There's a reason so many people consider this the best protein powder on the market. It doesn't matter which flavor you choose because they're all really delicious. It's also got the good lean mass building results to back it up. I've spent $10 more on other protein powders and I always keep coming back to this one.
The best protein on market mixes well, tastes well, and does its job. Stop listening to others and try it for yourself
this is the best whey out there. sooo many good flavors!
