MCT (medium chain triglycerides) oil is composed of fatty acids that naturally occur in coconut oil and other foods. The reason this type of fat is so effective, is because of how it differs from long chain triglycerides: unlike the longer chains, MCT’s bypass the digestive process that normally takes place.
