Gold Standard Whey by Optimum Nutrition is the ORIGINAL gold standard protein. It has always been viewed as the best quality whey protein that money can buy, and as anyone will tell you, if you want to take your training seriously, buy Gold Standard.
Why buy gold standard? Well besides the fact that it is the most trusted source of whey protein available, Gold Standard Whey contains 24g of protein per serving (79% by weight) in the form of whey protein isolates (highly filtered whey protein), concentrates (protein high in bioavailable amino acids), and hydrowhey (strategically formulated to provide the most benefit). Gold Standard also contains digestive enzymes, so it is more tolerable to anyone who has trouble digesting whey protein. Finally Gold Standard provides biologically active microfractions and growth factors along with high amounts of amino acids. So Gold Standard isn't just a protein supplement, it's a complete muscle building powder (just call it your bucket 'o gains).
But don't just take our word for it, some of the most recognizable names in the fitness industry stand behind this vaunted protein supplement. Steve Cook, for example claimes it was his favorite protein even before becoming an optimum sponsored athlete. Brock Cunico, fitness model and natural bodybuilder also uses Gold Standard. But can all athletes take this without fear of failing performance enhancing drug tests? The answer is yes. Gold Standard Whey is 100% protein, which is found naturally in most foods.
